These are more expensive than the Geissele blems were the last time they were available but you can't get just an upper from Geissele. The most recent cost for a DDC set was $185.50, $211.79 after tax and shipping. Just the lowers were $87.75 base, $99.84 after shipping in late 2020 and I don't think that price changed much.I have one of these but the non blem version. Geissele hate aside, this is a very nice BCG. Definitely not worth $300. I grabbed mine from gafs for $240 and would buy a bunch more of them sub-$250. I’ll be sliding a LMT ebolt in the carrier here soon. This over any of the mystic/ sharps reliabolt bcgs. CMT’s rails have a similar look to the Geissele ones for 1/2 the price. That being said I love the Mk8, she a thicc bitch. Hmm well as I said I’m a fan of the Mk8, it’s super solid. But another one worth a look in the same price range is the DD MFR. For the price though, it’s hard to argue against the MCMR from BCM. I have 3 geissele ssa-e, 2 larue mbt2s and an mbt single stage from before they came out with the 2 stage mbt2s. Only difference in preference to me is with geissele it's a thinner trigger with slightly longer pull so better for gloves in my opinion. And I love the Super Precision scope mounts, but it looks like most of the non-blemished ones are OOS so not much hope of picking up a blemished one in the immediate future. And for the record, all the blemished stuff I've picked up from Geissele has functioned flawlessly. In most cases any blemishes were barely noticeable.
